Dextromethorphan for Cough & Cold

Dose
10-20mg by mouth every 4 hours, OR 30mg every 6-8 hours. Max 120mg/day.
What to watch for
- Maoi use within 14 days
- Ssri concomitant use
Not recommended in pregnancy — check with a pharmacist or your clinician first.
Not for children under 4.
