Dose

Start LOW: 0.3-1mg by mouth 30-60 minutes before target bedtime. Can titrate up to 3mg if needed. Higher doses are not more effective and may worsen morning grogginess. Use for short courses (≤2 weeks).

What to watch for

  • Pregnancy limited data
  • Autoimmune disease caution

Not for children under 18.
