Diphenhydramine Oral Sleep
25-50mg by mouth 30 minutes before bedtime. Use for 1-2 nights only. Do NOT take if you'll drive or operate machinery within 8 hours of waking.
Doxylamine
25mg by mouth 30 minutes before bedtime. Limit to short-term use (1-2 weeks). Do NOT take if driving or operating machinery within 8 hours.
Glycine
500-3000mg by mouth 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Start with 500mg and increase as needed. Generally well-tolerated with minimal side effects.
L Theanine
100-200mg by mouth 30-60 minutes before bedtime. May take with or without food. Start with lower dose to assess tolerance.

300-400mg by mouth 30-60 minutes before bedtime. May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery after taking.
Tart Cherry
300-480mg by mouth 1-2 hours before bedtime. May take with food to reduce GI upset. Effects may take 1-2 weeks of consistent use.
Valerian Root
300-600mg by mouth 30-60 minutes before bedtime. May cause morning drowsiness; avoid driving until effects are known.
